Special Note on IGNOU

IGNOU's B.Ed. has additional eligibility conditions, including a recognised teacher-education qualification and teaching-experience requirements as specified by IGNOU. Therefore, it should not be treated as equivalent to the eligibility of every regular B.Ed. university.

15. Entrance Exam / Other Requirements

There is no single entrance exam applicable to every B.Ed. college in India.

Examples

IGNOU: Admission is through an Entrance Test. IGNOU conducted its B.Ed. Entrance Test for the January 2026 session.

Amity University Noida: The current B.Ed. page lists Personal Interview as the selection process.
